Clovis Soldier Will Be Laid To Rest Friday

Fresno, California Nick Eischen passed away in his sleep last week while in Afghanistan. His cause of death still hasn't been determined.

Eischen was from Clovis and a graduate of Buchanan high school.

His remains are expected to be flown back to Fresno on Wednesday.

On Friday a funeral service for Eischen will be held at New Hope Church in Clovis. The service starts at 11 am.

The ceremony will be followed by a reception at the Veteran's Memorial building in Clovis

The U.S. military will hold a memorial service for Eischen next Monday at Travis Air Force Base in Vacaville.
