Freeze Helped Strawberries

KFSN The January 2007 freeze helped the berries grow stronger root systems, which made for more productive plants in the spring, rather than damaging the fruit.

The Strawberry Commission says production for the fruit grew by almost seven million trays - up to 146 million - last year.
