More than 30 dead birds were found buried in a pit at the scene and about six other birds were found roaming around the property on Avenue 21 near Road 18.
While clearing the scene, Deputies found vials containing steroids, syringes and other cockfighting paraphernalia. Animal Control is working with the Sheriff's Department to clear the scene of the dead animals.
The two men will be in court next month to respond to the charges of illegal bird fighting.
