KFSN --
A valley church just completed one of the largest renovation projects in the city of Clovis.New Harvest Church converted a citrus packing plant located on Minnewawa near Herndon into a brand new worship center. The massive renovation started nearly two years ago and was completed in December 2007 at a cost of $7.6 million. The complex includes a cafe, childcare center, and sanctuary.
Mitch Ribera, Pastor New Harvest Church, says "We believe it's a God thing. No one could have envisioned this tired old packing facility being a beautiful renovated God's version of Extreme Makeover."
The church is planning another phase of construction which will add an event center, kitchen and additional parking.
