Currently, the only signs that are exempt are political, "open house" and garage sale signs.
Tuesday, church members went to the council meeting, to explain why it's important for them to be allowed to put signs on city sidewalks on Sundays.
Kevin Foster, Pastor, says "These signs will attract more congregation members thereby attracting more people to engage in our community ...with the current sign restriction...people involved in community."
City council members approved to review the recommendation, and to discuss other options at a later meeting.
