Stacy Johnson-Klein accepts $6.6 Million Dollar Award

021308 In December, jurors found Johnson-Klein faced gender discrimination and sexual harassment while she coached at Fresno State. The jury awarded her more than $19,000,000.

But last week, Fresno County Superior Court Judge Donald Black slashed that amount to more than $6,600,000 saying jurors gave the former coach too much money for non-economic damages also known as emotional distress.

Johnson-Klein had until February 22 to accept the judge's decision or Judge Black would order a new trial.
