Taylor Siebert does a nice job here on number 8 to dig her way out of the front-side bunker. The junior finished tied for sixth after shooting a 1-over 73.
Then on number 9, Laura Leuthke just off the green, plays chip and run and gets it near the hole. The bulldog senior finished 3-over.
As a team, Fresno State finished round one tied with Tulsa for second, four strokes behind tournament leader Kansas.
