L.A. Freeway shooting leaves man hospitalized

LOS ANGELES The California Highway Patrol reports that the victim was westbound on the Gardena (91) Freeway, just west of the Harbor (110) Freeway around 2:30 a.m. when the gunfire erupted.

The victim's older model red Ford LTD veered off the freeway and crashed into some nearby shrubs.

Paramedics arrived on the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital. However, officials are not releasing information about the victim's name or his condition.
