Officers are now searching for a white man in his mid-20's with long brown hair and tattoos on his wrist and lower legs. He is considered armed & dangerous.
Deputies say he stole the victim's 1999 blue Chevy Blazer. The license number is 4FVJ479.
Body Found in Fresno County Foothills
February 20, 2008 Deputies found the victim who had been shot near Jose Basin Road and Italian Bar Road in the Sierra National Forest above Auberry. They were told of the shooting around 6:00pm after another victim managed to get to Auberry and flag- down a deputy. That person then took investigators to the crime scene.
