Suspect Identified in Auberry Murder

2/21/2008 Detectives said a man came into the Auberry substation around 5:30pm, saying his friend had been shot. The victim's body was found off Jose Basin Road in the Sierra National Forest, near Auberry. He had been shot to death.

The suspect has been identified as 29-year-old Kenneth Wilson, also known as Kenneth Miranda. He is described as Hispanic or Native American, 5' 8" tall with long brown hair and brown eyes. Wilson has several tattoos including a teardrop near his left eye, and "Gumby" on his left wrist.
