Senator Barack Obama is trying to distance himself from his former fundraiser who's in the middle of a corruption trial. Tony Rezko is accused of pressuring companies to make campaign contributions in exchange for getting some of their key plans approved by politicians.

Jury selection for his trial is underway. According to the indictment, Senator Obama received a $10,000 dollar contribution from Rezko while running for office in Illinois.

Obama's campaign said it sent that money to charity. Obama himself has not been accused in the case.
