The charity has put several families into new homes in the area.
The Yang family says the new home is a giant step up from their old place.
They used to hear gunshots nearly every night in their old neighborhood and there wasn't much room to move around.
"Before this, we lived in an apartment, a crowded apartment, a 2-bedroom apartment with 10 people," says Tong Yang.
The family paid for the house by putting in more than 500 hours helping in the construction.
They already plan to turn their backyard into a garden of fruits and vegetables.
