Clinton, Obama face off in Wyoming

3/8/2008 CASPER, WY On the Republican side, John McCain locked up his party's nomination Tuesday. But Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are locked in a fierce contest for the Democratic nomination.

Wyoming has only 59,000 registered Democrats and their caucuses today will decide 12 delegates to the Democratic National Convention. But with the race so close, every delegate is prized. And Clinton and Obama both campaigned in Wyoming yesterday.

The former first lady has set low expectations for success today. Her campaign is portraying Obama as the odds-on favorite both in Wyoming and in next Tuesday's primary in Mississippi.

It's the first time Wyoming has enjoyed so much attention in a presidential contest since 1960 when its delegation to the Democratic convention put John Kennedy over the top.
