Two college students, murdered last week in high-profile cases in North Carolina and Alabama, are being buried Sunday in their hometowns in Georgia. Eighteen-year-old Lauren Burk of Marietta, Georgia, was a freshman at Auburn. She was found fatally wounded by the side of a road Tuesday night five miles from campus. Police have arrested a suspect.

Twenty-two-year-old Eve Carson was the student president at the University of North Carolina. She was found shot to death on a city street in Chapel Hill early Wednesday. Police think it was a random crime. They've released two surveillance photos of a possible suspect taken at an ATM in Chapel Hill.

UNC's president plans to lead a delegation of university officials to her funeral this afternoon in Athens, Georgia.
