Charges Reduced for COS Quarterback

A second degree murder charge has been dropped against a former College of the Sequoias football player Police said Casey Therriault was one of six men who allegedly beat and stomped on another man outside of a Grand Rapids, Michigan bar.

The incident happened in January and the victim died days later.

Therriault was the backup quarterback for College of the Sequoias this past fall. College administrators say he withdrew from the school before his arrest.

Therriault still faces a manslaughter charge.
