IRS Helps with Economic Stimulus Checks

They're opening more than 300 offices this Saturday, March 29th to make sure that the people who don't ordinarily file tax returns don't miss out on the payment.

Workers at the I.R.S. offices this weekend will help those prepare the forms they need to so they get their check. Four offices will be open in the valley this weekend, three in Fresno and one in Visalia.

To qualify, people must have at least $3,000 in earned income and certain benefits from Social Security, Veterans Affairs and Railroad Retirement.
