The family of a murdered north valley woman hit the streets today to keep her memory, and their mission, alive.Sunday marks the one-year anniversary of the murder of Jennifer Flores.

Chowchilla police found her dead in the home she shared with her boyfriend, James Curry, on March 30, 2007. The former Canadian league football player was arrested for Flores' murder, but a judge found there was not enough evidence to send him to trial.

Flores' friends and family say they want to keep their search for justice and her memory alive. "That's what she was known for, her smile," said Jennifer's Sister Annisa Flores.

Flores' friends and family are holding a prayer service and balloon release in her honor on Sunday evening at Veterans Memorial Park in Chowchilla.
