Police say a woman called police around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday to report that she was raped by a man inside a vacant condo at the Papyon Terrace complex. The suspect, 40-year-old James Henderson, reportedly is armed with a handgun.
Police say they don't believe Henderson has taken any hostages. They say he has an extensive criminal record and the alleged rape may have occurred during a date with a prostitute.
A SWAT team has locked down the complex and surrounded the building, located near Auto Mall Parkway.
