The victim had scratches, bruises and a puncture wound in her chest. She's expected to recover.
Rhodes was arrested and remains in jail on assault charges.

4/4/2008 Merced, CA Merced County Deputies said 26-year-old Nakia Rhodes got into an argument with the neighbor over money. When the fight turned physical, investigators said Rhodes first punched the victim, then stabbed her several times with a blue ball-point pen.
