Murder Suspect Finally Captured

While you were sleeping Fresno County sheriff's deputies caught a man in the Fresno County foothills wanted for murder.Kenneth Wilson had been on the run for seven weeks, ever since he was accused of killing a man and stealing his SUV.

The sheriff's department had been in the foothills near Auberry looking for Wilson since late Friday night. Deputies arrested him just before midnight Saturday ending a search that lasted more than 24-hours.

A helicopter with night vision helped the swat team find Wilson. Chris Curtice, Fresno County Sheriff's Department, says "They found him again in a very remote area. They had voice contact with him for several hours, finally got to his location, again with the assistance of Eagle One. They were able to take him into custody."

Investigators discovered marijuana plants growing close to where Wilson was hiding-out and say he'll face cultivation charges along with murder charges.
