Emergency Response Training

April 19, 2008 12:00:00 AM PDT
In an effort to improve disaster volunteer deployment, the Clovis Community Response Team and Sacramento Regional Emergency Response Team will conduct a disaster drill at the Clovis Training Center all day Saturday. This is a first of its kind exercise in California. During the exercise personnel will simulate a response to an earthquake in Clovis requiring mutual aid volunteer resources from Sacramento.

Volunteers will have to extract victims from a collapsed structure, extinguish small fires, stabilize patients and set-up a mass care/shelter site at New Harvest Church.

The Clovis and Sacramento emergency response volunteers are privileged to have been selected by the State.
