Small quake rattles mountains south of Mammoth Lakes

The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude-3.0 earthquake has rattled the Sierra Nevada Mountains just outside Yosemite National Park. The quake struck at 6:25 a.m. about six miles south of Mammoth Lakes along the eastern edge of the park.

A Mono County sheriff's dispatcher says there have been no reports of damage or injuries.
