They also say the prosecutors didn't present a case strong enough to prove their client was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
Schuster's trial moved from Fresno to Van Nuys where jurors convicted her of murdering her husband, Timothy Schuster, in 2003. She's also accused of putting his body in a barrel of acid.
She's scheduled to be sentenced later this month.
