Fresno, CA Investigators say he murdered his estranged wife Charlotte Ellis last week at her Clovis home. The defendant's family describes the incident as a crime of passion. They believe Cantrell may have caught Charlotte having an affair with a long time family friend. Court documents indicate a man named Sadan Scott was also in the home and injured in the crime. But in court on Tuesday family members declined to talk details. Tammy Williams is Cantrell's cousin and said, "Just pray for us."
