"My first game here I signed a contract in San Francisco got in the car and headed for Fresno. Got out of the car and hit a home run in my first plate appearance," said Clark. "It's a great town; I had a great time here. It's grown since I played here. This stadium is nice. We're not at John Euless Ball Park anymore."
Prior to Sunday afternoon's Grizzlies game more than 300 autograph seekers lined up to meet the 7-time all-star.
"I'm glad to be back here. The people and town made it easy to live here during my stint with the Fresno Giants. And the Grizzlies have been great. I'm glad to come out."
