The staff throws little parties like this a few times a year to bond with the patients, outside of the hospital environment.
Dr. Sahar Barayan, CHCC Pediatric Neurologist, says "It's a great time to get everybody together -- doctors, nurses, social workers, patients, and their families -- to all feel like we're one family. We all share the care and love for our patients."
Most of the kids get dialysis at least three times a week and they go to Children's Hospital for checkups about once a month.
