Fresno Police arrested a wanted parolee after he refused to surrender for nearly an hour. It happened at a home near Cornell and Fresno Street in central Fresno.

Just after 11:00pm on Wednesday night, police went to the home to arrest a man for an earlier disturbance.

Police said from their investigation they learned he was a parolee. Police tried to call him out of the home, but he refused. They said while he was in the home he injected himself with drugs.

He later voluntarily came out of the home and was arrested.
