When police arrived, the suspect ran out of the house and took off in a truck. Police claim he stole the truck from a neighbor's house. He was arrested and along with a woman.
Police told Brown that she had a cunning way of finding out who wasn't home. "She was walking around the neighborhood acting as if she was selling something and from what I gather, if you answer the door she'll give you a charade and if you don't, that's a mark from no one's home," said burglary victim Ross Brown.
Police say the burglars filled up a car parked in the garage with items stolen from inside the Brown's home. They also found items stolen from several other homes and cars in the areas.
Police have not released the suspect's identity.
