A child abduction occurred on Tuesday, June 4 at 5:30 p.m. in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The child's name is Esther Melendez. She is an 11-year-old white female with long black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and a black skirt.
The suspect is Jose Rangle-Martinez. A 28 to 30-year-old Hispanic male, 5'10" and weighing 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has a thin build and a tattoo on his forearm. He uses an alias of Manuel Zavala Yepez.
He is driving a 2003 red Chevrolet cavalier, 4 door with Nevada license plate 506UVM.
Amber Alert signs along Highway 99 and I-5 are lit up here in the Valley.
Las Vegas police say the two may be heading north to Oregon or Idaho or south to Mexico.
