Madera County Marijuana Bust near Bass Lake

Fresno, CA Investigators are pulling up the more-than 56-hundred plants they found growing in neat rows on the forest floor. Had the plants been harvested, then would have been worth about 17-million dollars.

Deputies didn't find any suspects at the site but say it looked as if a bear tore through the campsite a short time before and think that's why no one was there.

Investigators say the growers also tapped into the flume for a PG&E hydro plant to water their crop PG&E officials are trying to figure out if the damage can be repaired.
