Walt Disney employee Chrissie Allen, who helped design the ride, said the point of the ride is to play games with the "Toy Story" characters.
"A lot of people (are) very excited about the opening -- they've been waiting a long time," Allen said.
She said the ride took two and a half years to finish.
The ride tallies each rider's score, producing an overall score and an accuracy score.
The ride will also open at Walt Disney World in Florida.
Disney is the parent company of ABC30.
