Ladies Competing for Crown

6/21/2008 Fresno, CA Dressed in their best the women filled the first rows of the theater. They're hoping to take the top honor and become the finalist for the Miss California pageant.

After a photo shoot the ladies presented deputy mayor Jeff Eben with a small gift from their home regions.

Many say they're excited to return to Fresno for the chance to represent our state.

The Miss California pageant will take place Wednesday June 25th through Saturday June 28th at the William Saroyan theatre. The finalist will be chosen Saturday evening.
