Mental Competency Difficulties in Crisler Case

6/24/2008 Fresno, CA Donny Crisler is supposed to be examined by a mental health expert to see if he's competent to stand trial. But attorneys are having difficulty finding a doctor to evaluate him.

Crisler is deaf and mute and requires two different sign language interpreters to communicate.

Prosecutors claim Crisler was looking at child pornography at the county-run library in Lindsay.

Crisler's attorney said it was not child pornography. He believes Crisler needs psychiatric care.
