Tulare Cooling Centers

Mayor Craig Vejvoda announces additional locations to be included as Cooling Centers in the City of Tulare. The Tulare Western High School pool (824 W. Maple Ave.) and the Community Center pool (830 S. Blackstone Street) will be open Tuesday, July 8, 2008 thru Friday, July 11, 2008 from 1:15 - 4:00 P.M. daily, at no charge for community members seeking relief from the extreme heat.

The opening of the City's community pools are in addition to the existing Cooling Centers. Please note that the Senior Center is extending its hours and will remain open until 8:00 PM
