Mothers for Justice

Fresno, CA Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer joined members of the "Mothers for Justice" at City Hall.

The group is made up of mothers and family members of murder victims, seeking information which could lead to the arrests of those involved. For some, the plea was very personal.

One case involved a murder at a convenience store at Maple and Belmont in May of 2007.

Police say an argument between two gang members erupted into gunfire, leaving one man dead.

Chief Dyer says information in these unsolved cases which leads to an arrest and conviction, could result in a five-thousand dollar reward.
