6.8 Earthquake Shakes Japan

A strong earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.8 struck off the coast of Japan Wednesday morning. The video above shows the tower cam of Japanese news channel NHK shaking through the quake.

Japan's weather agency says there is no danger of a tsunami. The quake occurred about 75 miles below the ocean's surface about 450 miles north of Tokyo.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
