He was a longtime grower, packer and shipper of fruits and nuts. His company, P.R. farms, grew into an agriculture powerhouse in the valley.
Ricchiuti was a major donor to Fresno State's ag and athletics programs. The school named its academic center and its weight training facilities after him.
Pat Ricchiuti was 88 years old.
