Vitamin B12 doesn't lower heart risk

Vitamin B has been known to lower an amino acid in the blood that's been linked to heart disease, but new research says giving vitamin B12 to patients does not reduce the chance of a heart attack.Unfortunately, while a daily dose of vitamin B12 did lower homocysteine levels, it doesn't improve a person's risk of avoiding heart attack.
