Lovato's performance at the fair comes a year after the Jonas Brothers - not as popular then as now - played a similar Saturday afternoon concert.
The fair also announced the addition of an Oct. 2 date with Pepper, a rock/reggae group from Hawaii with a laid-back, island feel. The band played the 2007 Vans Warped Tour, which was its last Fresno stop.
Pepper will perform at 7:30 p.m. at Paul Paul Theatre. Tickets cost $10-$15 and will also go on sale Friday morning.
Tickets can be purchased at Fresno Fairgrounds box office, 1121 S. Chance Ave., online at www.fresnofair.com or by calling (559) 650-3247.
