Blink 182 Drummer Expected to Recover

Fresno, CA, USA A South Carolina coroner says the pilot and co-pilot died from smoke inhalation and the two passengers died from impact-related injuries.

The plane crashed after taking off from a Columbia, South Carolina airport around midnight Friday.

Travis Barker and DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, were critically injured and are being treated at a Georgia burn center.

Federal officials believe the pilots tried to abort the flight when one of the plane's tires blew out but couldn't stop the plane.
