King McCowan Memorial Fund Information

A Merced County Judge entered not guilty pleas for the teen because the teen and his lawyer have not had enough time to review evidence.
Police said the teen admitted to beating 21-month-old King McCowan with a belt Saturday night because he wasn't behaving.
The attorney for the teen said the incident was an accident. He said the teen feels sorry for what happened.
The autopsy for the toddler will be performed on Thursday.
