Death Penalty Sought in Banda Case

Fresno, CA, USA 21-year-old Jorge Banda pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity. He is charged with murdering 38-year old Detective Kent Haws last December.

The murder charges include the special circumstance of acting as a member of a street gang. A trial date has been set for January.
