Credit Information Stolen from Fresno Customers

9/20/2008 Fresno, CA, USA Private credit card information may have been stolen from hundreds--even thousands-- of customers.

Officials at the "Forever 21" store at Fashion Fair Mall say the store's credit system may have been illegally accessed to obtain customer payment card information.

They've determined the thefts likely happened on the following nine dates:
March 25, 2004
March 26, 2004
June 23, 2004
July 2, 2004
July 3, 2004
August 4, 2007
August 5, 2007
August 13, 2007
August 14, 2007

In addition, the incident may have affected customers who shopped specifically at the Fresno store between November 26, 2003 and October 24, 2005.

Indictments have been filed against three people suspected in the case. They're accused of stealing from 12 different retail stores in all.
