Bulldogs Feeling Rosy

9/28/2008 Pasadena, CA Dominating UCLA to earn the program's first ever win at the Rose Bowl Saturday in Pasadena. Nearly 20-thousand red wavers witnessed Fresno State make history.

Chastin West's touchdown reception late in the third quarter gave Fresno State a two touchdown advantage.

But it was the Bulldog defense that helped preserve the win as they once again came up big when they needed to the most. Forcing and then recovering a Bruin fumble on their own 10-yardline in the 4th quarter, allowing Fresno State to run out the clock.

The 'Dogs then celebrated the win with their fans in the north end zone following the game.

The program is also enjoying a jump in the latest AP top 25. Fresno State moves up three places to number 22.

A shake up in the top 5 has Oklahoma the new number one following USC's upset at Oregon State.
