Chihuahua still top dog at box office

LOS ANGELES The family comedy "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" was the No. 1 flick for the second-straight weekend, pulling in nearly $17 million in ticket sales.

The perky pooch stars in the only light comedy in a market heavy on drama.

The weekend's No. 2 flick also provided a dose of escapism for horror fans - the fright film "Quarantine."

A trio of big Hollywood names - Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Crowe and director Ridley Scott - had to settle for third place with the debut of their terrorism thriller "Body of Lies."

The flick centers on a CIA operative hunting the terrorist responsible for bombings around the world. It might have been too dark a theme for audiences after a week of gloomy Wall Street news.
