Fire officials said when they got to the home, smoke was billowing from the roof. They were able to put the fire out quickly, but there was still little damage done to the inside of the home.
The cause of the fire is still investigating the actual cause of the fire, but residents said they had been having electrical problems in the house.
The Red Cross is providing help for the family.
