John McCain on Election Day

Phoenix, AZ, USA In the final push and dwindling hours, Senator John McCain's voice appeared to be giving out. But there was no evidence of his spirit giving up. "So my friends it's been a long journey. So I need you to get out the vote."

McCain said the pundits and polls have it all wrong, "My opponent is measuring the drapes in the white house," said McCain, "they may not know it, but the Mac is back!"

After a whirlwind visit to several battleground states, John McCain was back in his home state of Arizona. "The momentum we've seen in the last several days, we're closing in the polls."

But with polls showing Senator Barack Obama leading in several traditionally "red" states, McCain is forced to play defense for a comeback. "Fight for a new direction for our country. Fight for what's right for America."

While all eyes are on Pennsylvania, which has essentially been deemed a must-win for McCain, he made his last stop there yesterday and will focus his efforts today in Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona.
