Anthrax Scare Suspect Released

Fresno, CA, USA 66-year old Marc Keyser was arrested Wednesday in Sacramento. Authorities said Keyser mailed envelopes with a white powdery substance labeled "Anthrax" to 120 politicians and news organizations including the Modesto office of Congressman George Radanovich and the Sacramento Bee.

The substance turned out to be sugar.

Friday, Keyser posted a $25,000 dollar bond and was released. A judge has ordered him to keep a log of everything he sends through the mail before his next court appearance on November 19th.
