Fresno, CA, USA Fresno Veterans Day Parade

The parade will start in front of the Fresno City Hall. This year's Fresno Veterans Day Parade 89th Anniversary celebrates and honors the United States Air Force. We welcome the United States Air Force units from across the United States to come to this special commemoration. To salute all of America's veterans and honor the incredible sacrifices they have made to protect freedom at home and abroad.

The Honoree this year is The United States Air Force. with a salute of a fly over of F-16 Fighting Falcon from the California Air National Guard 144th Fighter Wing. Veterans Week starts on November 5th 2008. with the Fresno veterans will place American Flags from the arms of the lights poles in downtown Fresno, California in honor of Veterans Day. 70 American Flags will fly from the Light poles on "P" St, in front of Fresno City Hall down Fresno Street and Van Ness Street Fresno Memorial Gardens provided the American Flags in honor of those veterans who have died.

Livingston Veterans Parade
Tuesday November 11, 2008 - 11:00am

The parade will start at C and Main streets. An award ceremony will follow the parade at Livingston Veterans Memorial Hall, where a homemade soup lunch will be served.

Cost: $4 donation for lunch.

Merced Veterans Day Ceremony and Parade
Ceremony at 11 a.m. and parade at 1 p.m. at the Courthouse Park Memorial.

The parade will begin at West Main and G Streets, Merced.
