Space shuttle Endeavour returned

National News The shuttle and its seven astronauts touched down at Edwards Air Force Base in Kern County. Endeavour's 16-day trip included an extreme home makeover for the international space station. It dropped off home improvement equipment, like a new bathroom, a kitchenette, an exercise machine, and a recycling system designed to convert urine and sweat into drinking water.
